Château
Léoville Poyferré

Second Grand Cru Classé in 1855, Château Léoville Poyferré is an emblematic estate in the Saint-Julien appellation. The vineyard extends over 80 hectares of magnificent deep gravel terroirs along the Gironde estuary. The wines are sensual, vibrant and precise, and their ageing potential is matched only by their charm.

Château
Moulin Riche

Further west, in the Saint-Julien area, Château Moulin Riche is made from a single block of 20 hectares. It is this terroir, unique and different from that of Léoville Poyferré, which inspired its revival, guided by the intuition of Didier Cuvelier. The wines express the generosity and freshness of the Saint-Julien terroir.

Beyond Saint-Julien

From Saint-Estèphe to Argentina… the Cuvelier family’s passion for wine has always taken them through history and across borders.

Originally wine merchants in the north of France, they fell in love with Château Le Crock in 1903, now a proud representative of the exceptional Crus Bourgeois and considered a sure bet in the Saint-Estèphe appellation.

Towards the end of the 20th century, they also decided to create a vineyard ‘from scratch’ on the beautiful terroirs of Argentina: Cuvelier Los Andes.
