Dear Wine lovers

The “primeurs” or “futures” week, when we present 2011, our latest vintage,  to the trade has come to an end.

We attended the Union des Grands Crus de Bordeaux 2001 tasting at Château Lagrange, which hosted the Union members of the Saint Julien, Pauillac and Saint Estèphe appellations.

The Union tastings were held in 7 places and had a total of 17,000 visits (reaching a record with vintage 2011 !!!), among which 30% foreigners representing 68 different nationalities.

500 visitors also came to the château to taste the “futures”.

While waiting for the press comments on the 2011 vintage, we have the pleasure to attach to this  page our 2011 vintage description at Léoville Poyferré, which you can download in French, English or Mandarin.

We are also pleased to share Tasted Bordeaux blind tasting, which grants our 2009 the first position with a 98 rating.
